Financial Accountant - Process Optimisation and Development

A vacancy has arisen for a Financial Accountant - Process Optimisation and Development at Glanbia Business Services. This is a permanent position reporting to the Senior Financial Services Manager EMEA and can be based in Dungarvan OR Kilkenny.

Key Elements of the Role

  • Support Shared Service Centre Management (SSC) and teams on the standardisation and optimisation of finance processes
  • Review and lead the implementation of new technology solutions
  • Automate and digitise existing processes to maximise efficiencies and minimise costs
  • Manage the roll-out of new services in to SSC
  • Manage the integration of new entities as the SSC wins new internal business
  • Manage the integration of new companies due to acquisitions
  • Disseminate best practice and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong post qualification experience
  • Skills & Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders
  • A commercial outlook to develop well founded businesses cases to influence change
  • Project Management experience
  • Business Partnering experience
  • Excellent IT experience
  • Business Analysis and process mapping
  • Compliance / best practice
  • Experience in working in an SSC environment highly desirable (including on audit engagements)
  • Big 4 or multinational graduate program or similar experience preferred
  • Ideally demonstrated experience leading Finance Transformation / Process Improvement / Systems Implementation projects in a multinational SSC environment
