The Population Health Practice is a new exciting part of our organization that uses technology to underpin broader population health and care transformation.
The Population Health Europe team offers the opportunity to be part of a startup organization with all the rewards and challenges that a start-up opportunity brings.
The team is focused on enabling clients to better understand, manage and engage populations to deliver a higher quality of care at a lower cost.
By developing innovative solutions that work with the data from the Electronic Health & Care Record / s (EHR), this organization helps build healthier communities, one person at a time.
The Population Health business uses predictive algorithms, clinical decision support and a closed loop health system to enable delivery of New Care Models.
This approach ensures that health care services are delivering the best care to their communities effectively, efficiently, and rapidly.
By aggregating data from multiple sources, health and care systems will use this data to identify, score and predict risks, targeting the individual through to population-
wide health improvement campaigns and interventions.
As a Team Lead on the software development Population Health team, you will be bringing together the world’s health care data to improve the overall health of patient populations.
Specifically, you will be involved in the design and development of the HealtheIntent streaming and batch data processing platform for our solutions.
In addition to designing and implementing aspects of our architecture, you will participate in the definition and review of our overall technical strategy and system requirements.
We own our platform end to end, and as such, you will be involved in deploying, monitoring, and supporting our system on our production cluster.
Since we value continuous improvement, you will also be leading efforts to identify and drive automation of common workflows, improved visibility to the health and state of our system, application of new development practices, and investigation into emerging technologies in the big data space.
Specific tools and technologies used may include : Java, Chef, Git, Hadoop, Hbase, Hive, Jenkins, Kafka, Splunk, and Storm.
