Given the need to communicate with our customers through different channels especially in our key Oncology portfolio, MSD are focusing on expanding our Digital Marketing footprint.

For this reason we are looking to add a Digital Marketing intern to support the Oncology Team with this project. This position requires project delivery as a core competency, good knowledge of content creation, re-

purposing and publishing in order to drive customer engagement and website traffic. You will be expected to deliver content targeting multiple customer segments according to tight timelines set by the Manager.

The role will involve actively working / Leading with colleagues across MSD to deliver on the multi-channel marketing plan

Main Responsibilities / Duties

  • In this role you will be responsible for sourcing, creating / re-purposing, aggregating, editing and publishing approved digital content, to drive customer engagement.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, demonstrating passion and initiative around finding innovative methods to drive traffic and engagement to key digital assets.
  • Working knowledge of (SEO Search Engine Optimisation) best practices is required (with good knowledge of customer journey mapping and design).
  • Optimise all published content for SEO.

  • Responsibilities will include creating new content opportunities in order to drive traffic and engagement targets.
  • Develop processes to revise and ensure consistent, accurate content at all times, ensuring full compliance.
  • Working within defined templates, create visually engaging content, that drives high levels of engagement from both new and repeat customers / visitors across specific customer segments.
  • Work with Oncology, Platform and Content teams to effectively establish an Oncology multi-channel footprint to drive traffic and engagement.
  • Ensure all news and featured content reflects the company's voice and tone guidelines, our culture, and brand.
  • Create campaign landing pages and automated customer journeys to drive high levels of traffic and engagement, new & repeat visits.
  • Requires innovative approaches to work within tight controls and creation parameters due to regulation and procedures.
  • Required :

  • Project management and the ability to meet timelines and delivery within a team.
  • Teamwork and ability to work within a team and matrix environment.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and Analytics is required
  • Education & Training :

  • A relevant 3rd level qualification is desirable (but not essential) e.g. Digital Marketing-with project management experience
  • Experience :

  • Strong attention to detail (due to tight regulatory and compliance landscape)
  • An ability to plan, prioritise and multi-task
  • An ability to work in a fast-moving proactive environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • To be a self-starter and to possess the ability to work on their own initiative and multi-task to effectively meet the needs of a number of managers.
  • Good working knowledge of office productivity tools and applications i.e. MS office suite
  • Flexible and adaptable, ability to change focus at short notice
  • A passion for all things digital and ability to apply it productively and successfully in this role
  • Strong writing skills and ability to quickly bring content / campaigns from ideas / concepts through to execution
