Job Description Team / Function OverviewCiti Internal Audit is a global function with approximately 1,800 staff based in 60 plus countries.

Citi Internal Audit provides independent assurance over each of Citi’s businesses, functions and in every country that Citi has a presence.

This role will sit within the Global Analytics and MIS team in Internal Audit and be responsible for leading the development and provision of data analysis and insight-

driven reporting to the Internal Audit function and business stakeholders across Citi. K ey Responsibilities : The successful candidate will receive an overview of the business context and specific training to enable them to perform the below key tasks and provide regional and business-

specific Internal Audit support.

  • Be the established point-person for Management Information System (MIS) support to relevant Chief Auditor, assisting with ad-
  • hoc requests for Management Information from the business and regulators

  • Production of MIS to address Internal Audit reporting requirements to all Audit Committees and governance committees within Citi per business / function / region alignment of the role
  • Develop, implement, and produce regular MIS reporting on internal operational activities, to track Internal Audit performance and support internal tracking and BAU operations
  • Support the ongoing development of the data analytics and MIS capabilities and tools within Internal Audit
  • Establish and maintain close contact with key Internal Audit personnel (within the area of responsibility) to ensure close collaboration across the function on data validation and key MIS activities
  • Provide localized execution support of centrally defined initiatives

  • Knowledge / Experience :

  • Understanding of MIS and related best practices for the provision of high quality MIS
  • Prior experience in the financial services industry or Internal Audit is advantageous but not necessary
  • Experience in delivering accurate data analytics and data processing activities to a variety of senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience within ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), data cleansing and validation within imperfect and manual data environments
  • Spanish language skills would be beneficial but not essential Skills :
  • Essential technical skills include SQL (including writing scripts for data extraction), advanced Microsoft Excel and high proficiency across the MS Office suite in general
  • Ideally, the candidate will have experience in utilizing mainstream Business Intelligence tools, for example : MicroStrategy, Qlikview, Tableau
  • VBA familiarity / knowledge would be advantageous
  • Qualifications :

  • BS / BA degree or equivalent combination of education / experience.
  • Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.
