The Bureau Deployment Team
Schneider Electric service bureau engineer is a cross Business Unit, product expert support role, supporting a wide range of Schneider Electric and third-
party devices and related services through secure monitoring platforms. Core duties include monitoring, notification, troubleshooting and incident resolution.
The Service Bureau team use data gathered remotely to provide monthly reports, analytics, lifecycle management and condition based maintenance.
The service bureau deployment team support EcoStruxure Asset Advisor (EAA) offers in English 12x7x365, by coordinating with other existing Service Bureau teams and part of a larger network of Bureau Language hub’s.
This central Bureau deployment team also support new bureau deployment and setups, coordinating in project mode with country service operations management and offer launch teams to assist service deployment globally.
The Global Field Service (GFS) Bureau Deployment Team are part of a larger support organization supporting all EAA offers by coordinating across EAA and GFS teams.
Engineers will, coordinating with other central support functions, Customer and field service teams, technical support, sales, CCC and offer and marketing teams.
Clear and concise communications are critical and diligence and attention to detail are also key skills along with the ability to multi-
task and priorities work appropriately. The Service bureau deployment team manager has responsibility for bureau deployment, global process, governance, capacity, efficiency and performance tracking in line with GFS EAA strategy.
Your mission :
Accelerate the connection of critical customer infrastructure to EcoStruxure Asset Advisor platforms.
Support the transformation of connectivity into competitive advantage, growth and new customer experience.
Your responsibilities :
Analyse data and trends collected by the EAA platforms
Analyse event’s notifications triggered by the EAA platform
Deliver maintenance recommendation based on the analysis (write reports)
Create opportunities / actions within BFO and assign to appropriate lead
Engage with customer periodically by phone, Chat or face to face as needed
Assist with software installation, customer and device connection (Provisioning)
Check Data, Alarm and Log file (when available) for advanced troubleshooting
Transfer to Product expert when required
Remotely inform customer of self-help actions (Reset, Restart) or about S actions for quick resolution via call, chat and email
Manage FSR dispatch on-site through local scheduling team, with all information possible, to be better prepared for the break-
fix visit (avoiding unnecessary visits)
Manage product / spare parts shipments to site with scheduling team
Meet defined service KPI
Participate in Bureau support community (Forum, Meetings)
Work as part of a Rota 12x7x365
About you :
Degree in IT / Software / Computer Engineering / Information Systems or similar based Qualification
High level of aptitude and interest in technology and Internet of Things (IoT)
Good experience in service activities, particularly in the following field of equipment (in order of importance) : MV transformers, Rotating machines, MV CBs and cubicles, LV CBs and switchboards, HVAC OEM, UPS system
Good communicator with a natural aptitude for dealing with people
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Fluency required in English. (Additional language : advantage)
A working knowledge of Modbus TCP / IP, Ethernet / IP and Modbus RTU
Ability to travel
