The Role :

As FP&A Director, you will report to the SVP, Commercial and Portfolio Management and work closely with other team members, coordinating the overall budget and planning processes and timelines, managing all analytical data being utilized by the EMEA region to support the business, as well as having ownership to co-

ordinate and deliver all reporting requirements to our HQ in a timely manner. You will have overall responsibility for business finance reporting as well as G&A, and each of your team members will align closely with the wider team (based in the US) on their specific function, but you will drive the EMEA region to align with, support and deliver globally.

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, consolidation and modelling of the Company’s EMEA budget and forecast results.

This includes direct oversight over work force planning and corporate department budgeting and all Business Finance activities to consolidate and report portfolio results.

You will also provide leadership for this reporting function, including hiring, training, managing and mentoring personnel, and providing cross-

training and other professional development activities. In every area and project, you will understand the business requirements, conceptualize the deliverable, and drive completion.

A specific sampling of your responsibilities includes :

  • Managing and developing a team of 3-4 individuals (initially) to streamline reporting requirements
  • Overall responsibility to deliver timely accurate reports, locally and globally
  • Overall budget and forecast planning coordination; tracking performance against budget monthly; provide analysis and understanding on performance versus plan and identify trends that are emerging that vary with objectives
  • Review output of analysis and report / provide insight to enable improved understanding of root causes of potential underperformance and support more informed decision making.
  • Provide insight / propose remediation actions, and track performance against agreed actions.

  • Providing technical support on structuring business transactions, including delivery of investment analysis documentation for proposed business structures or capital requirements.
  • Corporate overhead planning & analysis (supporting the US Finance Team)
  • G&A Support for Business leads (Partner to IT, HR, Legal, etc.)
  • Evaluating, developing and executing reporting process improvements to produce insightful and meaningful reports for senior executives
  • Overseeing ad-hoc project-based analytical exercises to support the EMEA Senior Leadership team
  • Participating in the oversight of the finance and internal control systems. Develop reports / reporting frameworks and advance report requirements in conjunction with BI processes.
  • Contributing to the production of accurate financial statements and SEC filings
  • Developing and executing reporting-process improvements in collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders
  • The Requirements :

    To be a good fit for this role, you will need broad and in-depth FP&A process and systems experience, real estate finance knowledge including construction, leasing and portfolio management, joint venture / partnership, revenue modelling, ten-

    year cash flow modelling and capital transactions. Data Centre experience is a plus, especially any related experience to our different product offerings.

    More specifically, you should have :

  • Previous proven combined work experience within FP&A function at companies with international operations and diverse product offerings.
  • M&A, systems and process integration experience.
  • A history of success and progression in management.
  • Experience working for a publicly traded company (preferably a REIT) and deep knowledge of the SEC requirements.
  • One-on-one experience with senior leadership.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant focus.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, financial modelling, and multi-dimension reporting tools (Oracle, Host, etc.)
  • Experience in International Operations would be a plus.
  • Experience in the Data Centre Industry would be a plus.
  • You'll also need :

    Collaboration is key here, and you'll call on your organizational agility to successfully coordinate with different stakeholders and departments across multiple time zones.

    You'll need to be able to manage numerous assignments, identify priorities and exercise good judgment. We're looking for a skilled and highly motivated individual who can research, compile, analyze, report and present findings in a clear and concise way.
