Purpose of the role :

  • Responsible for execution of responsibilities surrounding Bank account maintenance, Bank relationships, Bank Reporting, management metrics, relevant control / support tasks and other Bank Administration areas.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Manage Bank Administration tasks for AIG bank accounts, including account openings / closings / signatory management / balance report monitoring;
  • Manage queries from all stakeholders on a timely basis ensuring best-in-class service is provided at all times;
  • Manage relationship with global banking partners ensuring all issues are addressed or escalated as appropriate, including responding to KYC / AML requests from banks;
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate with Cash Management colleagues to achieve efficiencies, improve processes, manage cash balances optimally;
  • Distribute information / reports to various teams within the company and address any follow up queries on a timely basis;
  • Manage the bank fee payment process, look to improve efficiencies and address queries from the business or external banking partners on a timely basis;
  • Generate and distribute various Treasury reports and Management metrics on a Daily / Weekly / Ad Hoc basis;
  • Be part of various Treasury projects through collaboration across a variety of functions including Finance, IT, Global Treasury etc.
  • Partner with Treasury Compliance team to ensure all activities and duties are carried out within the respective global standards and policies;
  • Ensure adherence to all AIG Treasury policies and controls;
  • Ensure procedure documentation, Standard Operating Procedures, and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) are proactively maintained and kept up to date;
  • Ensure proper segregation of duties in accordance with policies and procedures;
  • Escalate issues as necessary and contribute to addressing service issues with internal and external customers, banks and counterparties;
  • Partner with other areas of Treasury and across the business to deliver best-in-class Treasury services.
  • Job Requirements :

    Experience, Qualifications and Attributes Required :

  • 5 plus years of work experience in a Corporate Treasury / Bank Administration / Cash Management environment;
  • Prior cash management / bank administration experience, setting up target balancing, monitoring of bank accounts, opening / closing bank accounts, signatory management, KYC / AML;
  • Prior experience with Treasury Management systems, electronic banking systems, bank fees analysis, SAP.
  • Education and Skills required :

  • BA degree in Accounting, Finance or a Business related subject is preferred;
  • Certified Treasury Professional or similar Treasury qualification (CTP) a plus;
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills (both verbal and written);
  • Proficient in Microsoft office specifically Excel and Word, strong data analysis skills;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
