Role Purpose Statement :

The job incumbent ensures an efficient and effective financial planning, controlling, reporting, accounting (incl. billing / invoicing), tax, risk management and treasury throughout the RiM organisation while supporting the major business objectives.

He / she supports the planning (forecasting) and budgeting process in RiM.

Key Interfaces : (internal, external)

Internal : country management team, regional functions, sister and parent companies

External : banks, auditors, advisors and authorities (legal, tax, airport, fiscal, custom, etc.), consultants, business partners

Main Accountabilities :

  • Prepare or generate the annual business plan / budget, and the annual financial reporting in RiM in line with defined processes.
  • Initiate corrective actions if needed; where appropriate : Finalise statutory accounts

  • Generate the reports of the country including monthly country forecasts and forward the results to the CEO and Regional Finance and Controlling;
  • generate reports and information based on ad-hoc request

  • Support CSC GMs in monitoring the achievement of financial objectives. Initiate corrective actions if necessary in cooperation with Italy GM and CSC GMs
  • Ensure all tax activities are carried out and tax liabilities are optimised
  • Ensure an efficient and effective cash and treasury management for the country
  • Implement guidelines and policies established by the LSG and the CEO of RiM to control cash flows by administering payments to vendors and service providers, customer credit terms, days sales outstanding and collection protocol
  • Ensure the integrity of books & records in RiM
  • Coordinate the budgeting procedures and processes in RiM regarding guidelines of Corporate Controlling
  • Coordinate administrative and financial areas, ensuring the correct carrying out of the company fiscal, commercial and financial fulfillments
  • Ensure correctness of annual financial statements, company key figures and indicators contained in the balance (operating and consolidated) sheet and the data quality and integrity of the Country data in the Management Information System
  • Guarantee correct financial management in terms of treasury, cash flow, credit management, debt and overdue management and investments
  • Implement effective internal control processes / controlling activities in the country; ensure compliance with them
  • Develop specific country KPIs in co-operation with the CEO of RiM
  • Ensure relations with external authorities and company auditor

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience :

  • Graduate level with financial focus and 10 years of equivalent experience in Finance
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of managerial experience in an equivalent position
  • Fluent in English (both oral and written)
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Experience in multinational companies preferable
