As a member of the AWS Support team you will be at the forefront of this transformational technology assisting a global list of companies that are taking advantage of a growing set of services and features.

We have a team of talented Support Engineers located in 8 countries around the world, and are growing rapidly.

We are seeking Support Engineers with a specialty in database technologies.

Fluency in French

  • Strong OS System Administrator skills, Linux or Windows
  • Networking (Fluent in DNS, DHCP, TCP / UDP, IP addressing)
  • Strong DBA skills in one or more of the following : Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora, AWS Redshift
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Customer service experience / strong customer focus
  • Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Self-starter who is excited about learning new technology
  • Exposure to Virtualization (VMware, Xen, Hypervisor) and Cloud services on AWS or other vendors
  • Prior working experience with AWS - any or all of EC2, S3, EBS, ELB, RDS, DMS, Redshift, Aurora
  • Exposure to security concepts / best practices
  • Experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications
  • Scripting Skills
