Role Overview :
To act as a primary link between the Front Office, Servicers, Treasury Operations (local & remote). To ensure all loan transactions and cash management activities are correctly administered in accordance with established procedures.
To ensure that all new loans and refinance terms are correctly entered to the internal systems and on-going monitoring of these loans is performed.
Main Responsibilities :
Perform loan administration activities for across the North American and European Loan book - Loan set up review and funding, Daily remittance posting and reconciliation, Processing wire transfer requests, Paid off loan processing, Month end reconciliation and distribution, with the objective of increasing client satisfaction and delivering the service efficiently;
Act as a single point of contact for Portfolio Managers, Loan Traders, and Servicers in respect to Operations activities on the loan book;
Support Managers and leadership in partnering with clients, Portfolio managers, GS (information technology / middle office / reference data), Compliance, Legal, and ORM Internal & External Audit staff to further develop / enhance processes, procedures and practices that support product and service requirements;
Contribute to addressing service issues with servicers;
Contribute to drafting and maintaining Loan Administration procedures;
Contribute subject matter expertise to initiatives impacting the Loan Administration function; Collaborate effectively with risk management to reduce operational risk for Loan Administration activities
Essential skills / experience :
2+ years proven experience working within financial services;
Experience in Loan Administration;
Good working knowledge of loan documentation requirements with respect to different loan types;
Good communication / interpersonal skills;
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure;
Good organisational skills, time management;
Sound analytical skills with an ability to prioritise tasks;
Flexible work approach;
