M&E Quantity Surveyor Cork / Limerick

Vickerstock are working in partnership with Ireland’s leading provider of construction services to recruit an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their established MEP division for projects in Cork and Limerick

Responsibilities of role :
Reviewing and processing M&E sub-contract payments;
Re-measurement of M&E sub-contract works for sub-contract valuations;
Producing quantities / schedules for procurement of M&E sub-contract packages;
Preparation and issuing of M&E sub-contract documentation to M&E sub-contractors;
Preparation of project interim valuations;
Preparation of monthly financial reports for M&E package.
Attending meetings as required;
Liaising with site personnel to obtain site records and reconciling against works claimed;
Valuation of variations in line with the Contract Conditions;
Negotiating M&E variations with Client’s commercial team;
Keeping records and all documentation in line with company policies.
Essential Criteria :
Third level Quantity Surveying qualification or construction related discipline
Minimum 5 Years’ experience in a similar role.
Proven track record on commercial programmes working as a Quantity Surveyor within M&E.
Experienced working from extensive BOQ’s.
Highly experienced negotiating variations and constant value engineering within M&E package.
