Insights Analyst Overview The role of the Customer Value Insights Team is to analyse large complex datasets to assist in the development and implementation of improvement projects across Customer Operations that would particularly benefit Customer Experience, and enhance Customer Activity on our sites and brands.
The Customer Value Insights Team deliver key actionable insights that drive the development of industry leading Customer Operations.
This ranges from driving business impact based on customer behavioural data, to using data insights to help streamline operational processes that affect customer experience.
Purpose of the Role As an Insights Analyst with the Customer Value Insights team, you will collaborate with areas such as Customer Support, Fraud, Payments and Responsible Gambling in the detailed analysis of large, complex datasets.
You will assist in the development and implementation of improvement projects across the business unit, as well as across the company.
Measure and analyse historical Paddy Power Betfair interaction strategies and report on trends
Become a source of knowledge within the business on understanding the relationship between customer interaction data and the value driven by customer operations performance data
Conduct research and analysis into the primary drivers of customer contacts.
Assisting the team with completing ad-hoc insights requests from the business Technical Competencies
Analytical and problem solving skills based on a data driven approach
Data manipulation and extraction skills are desired using some or all of : SQL, Redshift & Aurora, Oracle DW, MS SQL Server, including some skill in data visualisation using SQL, Visual Studio (Microsoft BI Packages) and Tableau.
Ability to take large swathes of information and present it to non-experts in a highly visual format
Knowledge of Paddy Power Betfair products and betting & gaming industry is desired Behavioural Competencies
