Claims Handler Pre-Litigation

Dublin City Centre

Sigmar are currently recruiting for a Claims Handler Pre-Litigation job with a company based in Dublin City Centre . If you want to work for one of the largest liability insurers in the market and grow your career with the team that truly makes a difference this is a job for you.

Duties :

  • Responsible for the investigation, negotiation and resolution of Pre-Litigation claims
  • Manager a portfolio of pre-litigation claims up to litigation
  • Adhere to documented policies and claims handling processes
  • Maintain a keen awareness of legislative changes
  • Ensure detailed knowledge of the general insurance regulatory environment is evidenced
  • Register allocated claims on the system
  • Liaise with senior pre-litigation staff on claims strategies
  • Efficient management of portfolio tasks
  • Control the cost of claims, while meeting client’s expectations
  • Requirements :

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience dealing with Employers Liability or Public Liability
  • CIP qualified
  • Relevant professional qualification
  • String communication skills
  • Highly computer literate
  • Analytical, result driven, goal focused
  • Team player
  • Committed to quality
