Full Time Cinema Manager in Movies Dundrum

We are looking for a dedicated, driven, ambitious and self-motivated manager interested in pursuing career in cinema / leisure environment.

Positive mental outlook, with Can- Do attitude is essential for this position.

Ideal candidate will come from a cinema background however retail, leisure, catering and hospitality professionals are welcome to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient day to day running of the cinema while ensuring that superior customer service is delivered at all times, as well as managing one of the areas of cinema operations : Retail, Training and Development, Facilities / Health and Safety, Audit.

The main objective of the role is to maximise profit and minimise loss.

Typical daily duties will include, but are not limited to :

  • Implementation of the cinema customer relations policies
  • Ensuring audience satisfaction
  • Responding to customer™s comments and queries (via various channels)
  • Driving work standards among the team and managing staff performance
  • Achieving audience and sales targets
  • Overseeing completion of daily cleaning tasks and actively promoting the highest level of cleanliness among staff
  • Implementing all procedures and incentives as directed by the General Manager and in cooperation with the rest of the Management Team
  • Managing promotions within the cinema
  • Highly accurate cash handling and stock control
  • Preparing reports, statistics, forecasts and financial accounts
  • Complying with licensing and health and safety regulations; taking proactive steps in ensuring safety of customers, staff and other persons on the premises.
  • Operating digital projection equipment
  • Ability to work flexible hours as weekends and nights are a necessary part of this job. You will be based in Dundrum but may be required to work at our sister sites for periods of up to 6 months.
