The Third Party Quality Manager reports to the Head of Quality Systems. The role will be responsible for designing and delivering a Quality oversight model for all co manufacturers and support areas within the business model i.

e. JVs, Coldboxes, Depots. The role will lead the measurement, qualification and setting of specific goals & improvement plans for each business.

The position serves a tactical purpose and must achieve a difficult balance of involvement and objectivity.

The primary functions of this role will be to :

  • Assess compliance of systems, facilities, and procedures per applicable regulations through audits and assessments , assuring compliance to regulatory requirements and company specifications
  • Provide feedback in the form of audit observations, and review corrective actions to confirm actions and commitments have been properly implemented, proven to be effective and are being maintained at the supplier, service level.
  • Qualify all Third Parties prior to use
  • Agree relevant GPS KPIs to be used to Monitor the capability ongoing for product / service compliance - fit for purpose products and services across areas of responsibility
  • Work with each business to Identify and tracks quality issues : addresses non-conformances with Third Parties through Glanbia RCA equivalent process
  • Participate in strategic initiatives to improve compliance to regulatory requirements and standards
  • Sign off on agreed specification / SLA for end product / service .
  • Oversee approval through change control of any proposed specification / Service changes
  • Ensure validation delivered as an output of required / approved changes at the supplier / service..
  • Escalate issues to management that involve warranty risk, liability &or cost. Prioritise actions based on risks, faults & impact .
  • Review complaints and manage investigations with Third Parties, including closure and CAPA verification
  • Manage and oversee junior supporting role, build effective team and encourage upskilling & development
  • Key Requirements :

  • Extensive experience in agricultural, food & dairy industries
  • Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality regulations & standards, Quality Systems, Certification, Testing, Quality Operations, Quality Auditing
