What would my new company look like?

This Irish business in the travel & tourism space are growing from strength to strength. Their IT function has been expanding and growing rapidly over the last 4 years and they are now looking for are looking for a full stack .

Net Developer to join the team. With an ongoing brand overhaul in full swing, and a brand new website build and consolidation project about to take off -

knit team of 4 developers, with a great team spirit. You will report into an IT Manager with a background in web development who has already played a crucial part in building this organisations suite of impressive websites.

This is a great opportunity to either get exposure to, or to continue to build on your growing expertise in building high performing e-

commerce websites. They offer a fun, fast paced, dynamic and technology driven multicultural environment.

That all sounds great, what will my day to day look like?

  • As the go-to .Net developer on the team, you will take ownership of the new website build, delivering new features to the suite of websites.
  • You will also work across multiple projects whilst gaining insight into the travel tech industry
  • You will work with the digital marketing team to develop web pages for campaign activity
  • A major part of this is also to work with the other developers on integration work back-office systems.
  • What I'll need to succeed?

  • You will need to demonstrate 2+ years of commercial software development experience.
  • You must have demonstrable experience in full stack .NET technologies (ASP.Net & C#), along with HTML, CSS & JavaScript.
  • Experience working with front end JavaScript framework like Angular JS, Angular or React.
  • Working knowledge of MVC design practices is a must, as are excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MySQL and SQL Server
  • Working knowledge of version control and DevOps would be a big bonus, as well as experience working with e-Commerce applications
  • Experience with Azure cloud is definitely a bonus but not absolute requirement - and yes they are already deployed on Azure!
