We are currently recruiting for the position of Marketing Manager for a high profile Irish / global brand. It is a brand at the forefront of its field which has set the pace and inspired a whole category to grow on the world stage.

This is a contract position for 9-12 months though the company has a strong track-record of retaining staff post-contract.

This is a key role for the Irish Marketing team. We need a dynamic experienced marketer who will lead the way in allowing us to achieve our vision and continue on our strong growth path that we have been on for the past 5 years.
You will lead the brand strategies and activation development in the Irish market. Create disruptive and stretching plans that will deliver the annual business targets and set the brand on the path to deliver the long term ambition.
This role will report to the Marketing Director, Ireland.
Manage the brand P&Ls and deliver annual business targets.
Overall responsibility for the A&P.
Provide the strategic thinking necessary to ensure holistic and best in class brand plans.
Develop and manage, and as necessary course correct, the FY19 brand plans to deliver stretching and disruptive brand activation programmes to the agreed A&P budgets.
Build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across the business, in particular manage communication with international teams.
Build and empower a high performing brand team that can deliver global best practice brand activation across all facets of the marketing mix.
Work with the International Strategy and Insights team to understand consumer, shopper and brand issues and identify insights and opportunities for planning purposes and activities that deliver against objectives.
Clearly demonstrate ownership of numbers through purposeful fact-based recommendations.
Champion innovation as a value growth driver for the Irish market and continue to develop a collaborative approach with the international teams;
positioning Ireland as an incubator for global test innovations.
Ensure all brand activations are delivered on time and executed to a best in class standard.
Manage the annual forecasting and aligned pricing systems.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently, delivering to tight deadlines while retaining attention to detail and communication standards.
Capability of building consensus and alignment around plans & activities and building momentum with stakeholders to deliver on brand objectives.
Managing and influencing external stakeholders.
Demonstrate strategic thinking skills and a foundation understanding of Consumer & Shopper Insight.
Must have the ability to write a concise insightful creative brief.
Must have a solid foundation of commercial acumen and can clearly demonstrate an ability to develop compelling fact-based recommendations in a passionate and engaging manner.
Must excel at flawless implementation of plans from concept to shelf, to a high standard.
Third level degree in Marketing / Business Management.
An experienced brand marketer with a minimum 8 years FMCG / Drinks Brand Management experience (plus at least 2 years as a MM).
Experience of contributing to the strategic planning process.
Demonstrate a track record or providing innovative solutions to commercial problems.
