The Role

Provide financial assistance to the key internal business stakeholders in terms of :

  • Preparation and interpretation of standard monthly management reports
  • Ongoing strategic business projects
  • Ad-hoc requests from the business & problem solving
  • Preparation and review of actual performance against budget and prior year
  • Preparation and update of budget and forecast information during the year
  • Development of additional reporting to facilitate the business
  • Supporting the Financial Reporting and Control team in terms of :

  • Month-end revenue reporting
  • Compliance with WTW Group revenue recognition group policies and procedures
  • Providing an update in terms of any business related issues / developments / projects which may have a financial impact on the underlying legal entity financial reporting
  • Assist in preparation of Regulatory reporting
  • Working with the key internal business stakeholders in terms of :

  • Collection of outstanding aged debtors
  • Review of aged revenue accruals / deferred revenue
  • Provision of potential E&O risks
  • Working with other team members in terms of :

  • Development of an excellent in-depth working relationship with all key business stakeholders
  • Collaboration, sharing of knowledge, and facilitation training across other areas
  • Engagement, coaching and mentoring Finance Business Partner Support, and
  • Establishment of a positive work environment.

  • The Requirements

    The ideal candidate will fit the following profile :

  • Exceptional commercial acumen understanding of the key business revenue and Profit & Loss drivers
  • Strong financial knowledge qualified accountant with 5+ years PQE
  • Excellent interpersonal skills ability to develop strong working relationships with the business
  • Pro-active ability to use initiative, self-starting, ability to prioritise and deliver within deadlines
  • Passionate to make a difference and to add value to the business
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritise and organise workflow
  • Highly computer literate with superior skills in Microsoft Excel, and a knowledge of accounting packages e.g. Oracle E-
  • Business Suite, Hyperion, etc.
