We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own global go-to-market strategy for two or three products within our Network Management portfolio.
This role provides a chance to demonstrate your strong product marketing skills across the company. The right person for this role loves telling compelling and memorable stories to IT professionals about technical products, working with marketing, sales, and product teams, and doing what it takes to move the needle’ and achieve the financial and market success of their products.

Working with Product Management
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will need to partner with Product Management to understand the value or your products, to provide feedback and insights for roadmap generation, to determine the business goals for your products, and to execute powerful and impactful product launches.
Working with Sales
It’s your job to help future customers discover SolarWinds and your products, and to help them understand why the product is right for them ensuring the quality of prospects that are handed-
over to talk to sales. You also need to ensure that sales are trained on your products, and are enabled with the knowledge and collateral required to close the deal.
Corporate Marketing and Demand Generation
At SolarWinds, Product Marketing works closely with marketing teams to ensure we are reaching the right audiences, that we have effective content, that we are driving both awareness and demand, and that we are both acquiring new customers and cross-
selling more into our install base. Your go-to-market plans helps define the direction, which campaigns you’ll run, and you’ll also help drive execution by writing e-
mail and web content, marketing collateral, webinars, and more.

As needed, you may also travel to some of our regional offices across EMEA, North America, and APAC in support of sales and partner training.
This role is based in Cork, Ireland, but will work closely with a team in Austin, Texas, USA. While we strive to maintain standard working hours, there may be occasions where evening meeting are required.
An understanding of information technology buyer and the IT industry is a critical starting point.
3+ years of Product Marketing for a B2B technical software product (or Marketing with strong experience in technical hardware or software markets)
Experience owning the go-to-market for, and launching, successful products
Great writer and great presenter, with an ability to deliver technical content in a clear, concise, and compelling language
A curiosity that drives investigation and learning
Experience interacting with customers, partners, and press / analysts with accuracy and professionalism.
Strong understanding with digital marketing technologies and methods. Consumer experience a plus.
Demonstrated self-motivation and self-discipline to work effectively in a high-paced environment
Ability to think and execute at both strategic and operational levels
