The Sales and Marketing Manager will manage the maximisation of hotel revenues by developing programs to increase occupancy and make profitable use of accommodation, meeting and spa facilities.
Key Responsibilities :
Will be responsible for co-ordinating marketing and promotional activities to meet customer needs, working closely with other hotel staff to ensure customers are satisfied with the facilities and their time there.
Monitor customer reviews on your own website or on hotel booking sites to identify the strengths and weaknesses of your hotel.
Review travel industry research to identify trends that could affect the hotel.
Developing promotions to increase occupancy during times of the year when bookings are low.
To build a stable revenue base and ensure high levels of repeat business, you need to develop strong customer relationships.
Work closely with other members of the hotel management team to identify marketing priorities.
Implement Group strategies and plans and contribute to the development of these plans.
Manage, develop and motivate the Sales and Marketing team.
The ideal candidate for this position :
Previous experience in a 4-star hotel with weddings, conference & banqueting, spa and leisure.
Has the leadership and innovation to drive the business.
Strong Knowledge of Digital, PR, Social, Advertising platforms.
Be a self-starter who has the capacity to operate with little supervision.
A proven track record in exceeding goals and targets within the hospitality industry.
Excellent Communication and presentation skills.
Must be car owner with full clean drivers licence
