We are looking for an experienced Programme Supervisor to join our team. You will promote the development of independent living skills, while you assist our service users in their day to day tasks.

Programme Supervisor for Galway Resource Centre, Co Galway
Fixed Term Contract 6 months, 19.5 hours
The purpose of the job is to promote and support independent living and community integration personal development and work opportunities for service users.
To assist the Community Services Manager in the development, implementation and delivery of quality customer focused and cost effective community services to service-
Users at an appropriate time and setting. The successful candidate will work with 2 resource centres based in Casla and Galway City to progress supported self-
directed living and community-based supports. This includes the provision of individual programmes and activities to meet the needs, choices and abilities of service-
users, and an active contribution towards the involvement of RehabCare in the expansion of this service.
Minimum Education & Skills required
A Third level graduate, health and social care or equivalent
Well-developed people management skills, with proven experience of building, leading and moti-vating a team.
Experience of working with adults with disabilities
Training in SSDL (Supported Self Directed Living) and / or SRV (Social Role Valorisation) is highly de-sirable with a willingness to upskill
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Build trusting relationships and communication with service users, facilitating them to identify their goals, strengths and needs.
Support service users to establish and enhance their natural support circle.
Research and devise Community Profiles, sourcing activities in service user’s communities.
Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations.
Be action orientated; enjoying working hard and seeking challenges with an ability to act and react as required, even in circumstances of limited / incomplete information.
Be flexible regarding working hours and travel in order to meet the operational needs of the ser-vice and organization.
Flexibly adapt to take on other reasonable duties / projects if required by the CSM
Full clean driving license
