The successful candidate will report directly to the Country Controller and will be expected to be have extensive experience of Irish prudential reporting (COREP, FINREP, Large exposures etc.
The successful candidate for this key role will be expected to strive for the highest reporting standards under current and future legislation and guidelines.
This requires the ability to demonstrate a wider experienced based appreciation of the challenges involved in maintaining and enhancing regulatory reporting capability and in particular knowledge of the appropriate risk control framework considerations.
The Team Member will be responsible for the design, production or review of the Central Bank of Ireland ( CBI ) prudential returns as well as Irish, UK and German statistical returns.
The role will also include managing a small team of regulatory reporting professionals.
Outside of normal reporting obligations, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate and apply subject matter expertise in a wide range of financial products as well as technical expertise in the regulatory reporting with respect to these products to enable them to support the Country Controller with wider strategic initiatives impacting the Bank such as capital forecasting, ICAAP, ILAAP, system and software upgrades, impacts of future regulatory change.
