    Job Summary :

    Trane’s summer internship allows participants to experience aprogram focused on exploring a career in Technical Sales. Our commercialbusiness systems interns work with Industry leading Sales Professionals and ourcustomers in the design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts andservices for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings.

    This includesthe world's most complete line of commercial, industrial and institutionalheating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and buildingmanagement controls.

    Throughout your internship at one of our nationwide salesoffices, you will be exposed to the many facets of Trane’s businesses : Service,Equipment, Building Automation, Application, Fulfillment and much more.

    Youwill attend sales meetings; business functions; sales and service calls;customer meetings alongside experienced account managers and mentors.

    You willunderstand the steps sales engineers take from start to finish on a job andwill be hands-on in those steps throughout the internship.

    In addition, youwill gain an appreciation for the importance of the relationship with ourcustomers as you work with them on a daily basis as a point-

    of-contact creatinga sense of ownership and importance in the solution-making process. Ourstructured twelve-week (12) program will challenge and develop your technical,business, sales, leadership and communication skills.

    It will give you insightinto sales engineering career with Trane and create the opportunity to join ourindustry leading Graduate Training Program (GTP) upon graduation for those whomutually agree to pursue a career in Technical Sales.

  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Open to All Engineering Areas of Emphasis)
  • Open to Sophomores and Juniors
  • Strong Oral and Written Communication skills with desire to impact organization revenue through Sales
  • Strong Goal Orientation and desire to pursue Career working directly with Customers as a Technical Sales Consultant
  • Possess a Valid State issued Driver’s License with ability to provide proof of insurance
  • Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
