This role is being sourced, to be filled over the next 3 to 6 months.

Principal Silicon RF IC Design Engineer

Job Description :

  • Design market-leading RFIC and Microwave components and subsystems in Silicon technology.
  • Main Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Take responsibility and ownership for the full silicon design lifecycle.
  • Simulate and design IC circuits based on available device models, parameters, and design rules.
  • Work within a multi-disciplined project team.
  • Key Competencies Required :

  • Cadence and ADS expertise
  • RF or Microwave Silicon IC design expertise (e.g. SOI, RF CMOS, SiGe BiPolar and BiCMOS processes)
  • Experience in some of the following areas is desirable :
  • RF / Microwave Switch, Attenuator, Amplifier, Phase Shifter, VCO design, Up / Down Converter
  • Bandgap reference voltage generation
  • Experience with EM simulation and RC extraction tools
  • Good planning and organisational skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Ability to work well in a global team environment
  • Understanding of RF / MW systems and specification tradeoffs
  • Job Qualifications :

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering plus a minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
  • Postgraduate qualifications preferred.
