Financial Reporting Manager
Department : Finance Location : Dublin, Ireland Reports to : Director Financial Reporting
AerCap is seeking a motivated individual to join its Group Financial Reporting team as the Manager of Financial Reporting.
In this position, reporting to the Director Financial Reporting, you will be primarily responsible for the preparation of AerCap’s periodic US GAAP financial statements as filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
In addition, during off-peak financial reporting periods you will be involved in reviewing and establishing accounting policies, reviewing new and emerging accounting pronouncements relevant to the aircraft leasing business, supporting the business with accounting analysis of proposed and completed transactions, and other special projects.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with relevant years of working experience in financial reporting.
Preparation of US GAAP / SEC compliant reporting at quarter and year ends
Preparation of financial information and analysis, including summaries of quarterly performance supporting internal reports and quarterly earnings press releases
Assist the accounting policy and transaction support team to develop and implement accounting policies and to assist with transaction accounting analysis, and other special projects
Assist with continuous improvement of financial reporting processes
Supply information to internal and external auditors and work closely with them to ensure efficient and timely quarterly review and year-end audit procedures
Other ad-hoc projects and duties as required
Job requirements, qualifications, and competencies
Educational / Experience
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
Relevant experience in an international environment including a big four audit firm
Relevant experience with Financial Reporting in an international environment (US GAAP is a plus)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Analytical, accurate and detail-oriented (willing to understand the details of complex issues)
Extraordinary attention to overall quality of the final product
Able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines, work under pressure and meet established deadlines
