My Client, an established Irish business since 1980, provide freight, logistics and shipping solutions for businesses throughout Ireland, UK, Europe and globally including China and USA.
Due to a steady increase in demand for new business orders they are now looking for a Operations Administrator with experience in Shipping & Deep Sea Freight, to join their team.
The role is based in West Dublin.
This is a full time, permanent position, the salary will be €28K - €32K (depending on your experience)
Standard hours are Mon - Fri, 9.00am - 5.30pm
Job Description :
Customer Service support and administration
Input information accurately and complete documentation
Contact customers regarding freight & shipping documentation
Ensure procedures and compliance requirements are adhered to
Generate all of the required shipping documents & invoices for the above.
Ensure all Customer Shipping notes and customs clearance tariffs are fully up to date
Ensure all customer inquiries by email or phone are responded to timely and professionally.
Maintain and keep up to date all CRM records
Generate the required shipping documents / Custom Clearance / Invoices as needed
Ensure that all documentation is 100% accurate, so good attention to detail
Remain current and up to date on industry rules & regulations.
Your experience :
One year's experience it the logistics / freight / shipping industry
At least one year's experience in Customer Service / Administration role
Have experience in shipping, logistics, deep sea freight, bill of lading, freight.
Good Administration skills, MS Office, Excel, Outlook.
Have good communications skills by email, phone and within the team.
Be able to work to deadlines and achieve KPIs
