Servisource Recruitment is seeking an Audit Senior to join a well-established Financial client within their dynamic and global associated practice in Balbriggan, Co Dublin.
As Audit Senior, you will be primarily responsible for a large portfolio of clients whilst also identifying and developing new business opportunities within the accounting and auditing processes.
What you will do as an Audit Senior?
Dealing with a large portfolio of clients across various sectors.
Support the directors’ and staff in ensuring compliance with all appropriate legislation and achievement of auditing standards
Reviewing the work of audit trainees to develop their skillsets and delivery of completed files for director review
Report directly to firm partners and directors to work towards an individual achievement of firm goals and KPI's
Responsible for assisting the directors with a portfolio of clients to ensure compliance with appropriate internal and external standards and delivery of services in line with the requirements of the firm and the global organisation and with statutory compliance
Thinking strategically about clients’ needs by understanding their business and key risks, assessing situations before they become critical and developing solutions to deal with same, providing additional help and guidance to clients on a consultancy basis and identifying ways to maximise the relationships with clients and deliver added value
Liaising with directors in appraisal of firms’ objectives and delivery of client services
Manage a portfolio of clients, including fee negotiation, identifying client needs and recognising new business opportunities
Participation in ongoing business development activities within the firm and in particular identification of opportunities arising from the assurance process
Ensure client satisfaction at all times through effective communication and maintaining a high standard of work within deadlines
To be considered for this role, you must have the following :
ACCA, ACA or CPA Qualified
Previous experience in assurance / advisory / professional services, preferably in one of the Top 20 accountancy firms.
Strong technical skills and attention to detail of accounting and auditing
Have the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Must be able to make professional judgements based on findings and be highly analytical
The ability to work well within a dynamic team is essential
Must also possess good leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff to work to strict deadlines
Previous knowledge and experience in business advisory also a distinct advantage
