The Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer will lead and build new Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines in MS Azure and open source technologies.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Full stack test driven development using .NET and open source technologies
  • Designing, building, and implementing DevOps capabilities including new Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deploy (CD) pipelines
  • Deploying applications using Kubernetes
  • Working on applications within a private cloud environment
  • Implementing and managing build cycles
  • Responsible for application performance monitoring
  • Youll get to be hands-on with code and fix issues in code quality
  • Write custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure and monitoring services in cloud technology targets
  • Write scripts to automate application deployment and upgrades of the application
  • Maintain Git policy and documentation
  • Support operationally critical environment, using monitoring tools and scripts, data feeds and associated scripts, research, and analysis of production issues, capturing logging
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and / or training in the computer systems engineering field.
  • Strong knowledge of CI / CD and CM tools including (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
  • Considerable expertise of general container technology (e.g. Docker)
  • Strong knowledge of Azure
  • Expert experience with Azure IaaS, Scale sets, ARM templates, Azure automation
  • Experience with Azure using both the Azure Portal, Azure Command Line Interface (Azure CLI)
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerShell
  • Have proficiency in at least 1 other language : JavaScript, Python, PHP, .Net, C#, etc.
  • Working knowledge of MSSQL, including administration and performance tuning
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Providing hands on development for applications
  • Implementing and managing build cycles
  • Responsible for application performance monitoring
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes
  • AWS cloud programming and G3 experience
  • Proficient in production systems design including High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Performance, Efficiency, and Security
  • Knowledge and understanding of high-scale, multi-tenant Web services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
