The SMB Credit Support Admin role within Hewlett Packard Enterprise Financial Services (HPEFS) supports the rapidly growing SMB segment.

HPEFS Risk Management is constantly reviewing our Global Partner Controls Policy to ensure that we have the appropriate balance between risk mitigation and efficient business processes.

To that end the SMB Credit Support Admin role is responsible for underwriting new partners from a credit point of view to determine whether the proposed partner can approve or not.

In additional the person is responsible for supporting the EMEA SMB Credit Team in Anti Money Laundering procedures regarding current AML, regulations and other relevant legislation.

Also critical to success in this role is the ability to partner and collaborate with sales associates and other functions.

Reporting structure is relatively flat with a lot of personal autonomy, authority and accountability. Focus is put on team approach, where all employees work together to achieve their goals within HPEFS.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with the SMB E2E Teams and EMEA SMB Credit Team to ensure we have the appropriate balance between risk mitigation and efficient business processes when reviewing new partners to be added to Partner Connection.
  • Research and analyse new and existing partners.
  • Barring any red flags in the credit review or concerns with the information provided for new partners etc.
  • A proactive approach should be taken to continually establish to assist the HPEFS SMB Segment and improve the process flow through the SMB Credit Department, particularly at Quarter Ends.
  • All of the above processes should be conducted in an efficient manner with emphasis on service levels and focus on turnaround response times.
  • Strong initiative skills are required to proactively take on and resolve issues.
  • Qualifications / Criteria :

  • Minimum of 3 year experience essential, gained in corporate banking / leasing environment.
  • Exposure to Small Ticket Underwriting would be an advantage
  • Confident, self-starter required
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of capital markets and various debt / equity products are also an advantage.
  • Finance related degree (business administration, economics, banking) preferable
